Normally, you’ll find us having a huge brag fest about our mentors and jury at SWS – and with good reason, I may add.
Right now though, I’m going to tell you about the super line up of speakers for SWS April 2013.
Since it’s a good idea to start on a high, we have our veteran renegade mentor, Christian Rangen, giving the opening keynote speech on Friday evening titled, “Kick-ass: Making Disruptive Innovation Work For You”. (If Christian is telling you, it’s going to work.)
On Saturday, we have two solid guys, back to back.
Martin Schorling Overgård,co-founder and CEO at Sputnik5, will be giving a talk titled “Business Modeling 101” on Saturday morning. He will be closely followed by Mátyás Kolsofszki, Technology Transfer Professional, who will be giving a talk on Saturday titled “Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights”. Both these talks are highly recommended and the knowledge gained will add considerably to your startup proposal.
We are really lucky that one of our great jury members will be doing a double act on Sunday evening. William Taliaferro, Deputy Counselor for Political & Economic Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, will give the closing plenary with the irresistible title “Count It Like Dog Years – Life in a Startup”. Prior to joining the diplomatic service in 2001, Mr. Taliaferro spent a decade working with technology start-up companies in Silicon Valley. We can expect experience, humour and all sorts of startup pearls of wisdom coming our way!
So, if you haven’t picked up your tickets yet, make sure you don’t miss out!
